Internal Oak Doors

Our handmade oak planked farmhouse doors can be made to any size within reason and are constructed from pre-selected timber – you tell us how rustic you want it!  This material is then machined to 20mm and a tongue and groove moulding added.  Your choice of feature is then formed on the boards; the width of board is random with each door laid out and board format chosen for aesthetic pleasure. The choice of feature can be made from the details below.  The doors can either be made from four ledgers – the traditional way or by three ledgers and cross braces. 

The ledgers and braces are fixed to the pre-clamped boards and then, a choice of nail and boards features are available.

You have many decisions to make once you have placed your order with us, such as whether you require the beautiful decorative rose headed nails, and if so, whether you require them to be cleated or blind.

You also have the option of board detail, whether you require the boards to have a random chamfer detail or a machined Heritage bead detail.

Care should be taken when ordering, please make sure that the opening format of the door is given including hinge location on ledger and brace doors.

Our hand made oak doors can be created in rustic or formal format.

All of the above are available assembled or in flat pack format for self -assembly.
